My name is Dee Stastny and I am the artist behind Dimples *N* Dewdrops Nursery. I grew up surrounded by art. My great grandfather, Edmund Greacen, was an American Impressionist painter. My grandmother, Nan Greacen, was a wonderful still life and portrait painter, My Aunt, Renee Faure, is an amazing watercolor artist and my mother, Nancy Waesche, is a wonderful artist as well, displaying her artistic talents creating doll houses and room boxes, as well as oil painting and graphite drawing. You could say art "is in my blood". I started on my artistic journey with decorative painting and moved on to oil painting, graphite and colored pencil drawing. I started reborning about 9 years ago and moved on to sculpting my own babies out of polymer clay. I have found my true passion with sculpting. It still amazes me each time a little face emerges from a lump of clay. Thank you for your continued support!
