My
name is Dee Stastny and I am the
artist behind Dimples *N* Dewdrops
nursery. I am a wife of 24 years
and mother to three great kids.
I have always been interested
in art, starting with decorative
painting and moving on to oil
painting. When I discovered reborns
in our local newspaper about 5
years ago, I was hooked! I couldn't
believe that you could take a
vinyl doll and make them look
so real. I started reborning and
have been doing so for over 5
years. I then discovered the world
of OOAK babies made of clay. This
also fascinated me. Having had
a Great Aunt who was a sculptor,
I decided to try. Sculpting has
become my true passion. I have
been sculpting for about 4
years. I am still amazed as each
little baby develops out of a
lump of clay. I am having so much
fun doing both and enjoy bringing
happiness to all the customers out
there who have adopted my creations. |
